AusBiz: Budget 2021 and Impacts on People

I was delighted to speak to Annette Beacher and David Scutt at AusBiz on what’s really needed to drive the Government’s ambitious budget aims: people.

The big-spend Budget requires a fresh approach from Government and industry to how we connect people, processes and technology in the post-pandemic era. The building blocks are in place, but we can’t underestimate how important it is to apply modern workforce management practice to sectoral investment, skills training and digital economy. Doing so will ensure we don’t repeat past mistakes and create people-first digital transformation in Australia.
